sinn or breitling | sinn 903 vs Breitling navitimer sinn or breitling Has anyone owned both the 903 and the Breitling Navitimer? If so how would you compare them? Does the Sinn hold up well against the Breitling in terms of fit and finish? Is the Breitling worth all that extra money? I'm seriously considering purchasing a 903 new (none available used at the moment)
Among the most immediately noticeable differences between certain types of the watch is whether they have what is known as 2-line or 4-line dials. The ref. 6538 was powered by the Cal. 1030 throughout its life, Rolex’s .

I'm new to Sinn, but like the brand really well. 42mm Breitling is the minimum I can go with my 7 1/4 inch wrists. Sinn UX is 44 and Sinn U212 SE is 47 (I can get by easily with the size). My thoughts are which would hold their value better?

The Breitling is indisputably the “better” watch. The B01 movement is just a total powerhouse of movement mechanics, with a 70-hour power reserve and vertical clutch (a mechanism designed to improve efficiency and, moreover, make for a smoother chronograph operation). Prior to getting the watch I did my research, finding plenty of reviews, most of which spent their time comparing the specs between the Sinn and Breitling. Almost every one of these reviews came out in favour of the Sinn, value for money, usability, and ruggedness. Watches from Casio, Seiko, Citizen, Hamilton and Sinn might just fill that Breitling-shaped hole in your heart.
Sinn bought the rights to the Breitling 806 and 809 Navitimer models as well as 500 cases and dials, keen to produce a pilot’s watch with a logarithmic scale and slide rule function that made the Breitling Navitimer so recognizable. Sinn improved the case, movement, and dial while offering a price-to-features ratio that is rare (to say the least) in the established watch industry today. A similarly-equipped Breitling Navitimer is also an excellent watch, but at least double the price of what Sinn is asking.
The Sinn is by far the better value proposition and much easier to defend from a rational perspective. It saves a ton of money on its ébauche caliber, which is easier and cheaper to service to boot. Yet it also offers a build that rivals the Breitling’s and trumps it on specifics like water resistance. Sinn 903 ST II. Watch Review. A Modern Take On The Lady-Datejust. Written By: Paul Altieri. The Datejust is a staple of the Rolex brand that first hit the market in 1945. Although the model was originally designed for men, the brand quickly followed it up with the Rolex Lady-Datejust in 1957, which offered all of the same core features but in a more compact size.
