The new Day-Date in 36mm and 40mm are exclusively available with fluted or gem-set platinum bezels. No more smooth platinum bezels. Again, because the fluted bezel has existed for so long only in 18k-gold, it is a design that, in my mind at least, has become .K+K+
Replace the bezel on the palm dial DJ so you get smooth/oyster. Then get a silver dial DJ with fluted/jubilee. 36mm is the way to go for these watches. Based on the photos, the 36mm looks quite conservative. If you want it to be low-key, I think it is fine. Which size (41 or 36) did you choose and why? + Could you please let me know wrist size? 36mm 6.75" wrist because the crown and bracelet look properly proportioned in 36mm and feel most comfortable and discreet on the wrist in 36mm.
